A master blender discovered a trove of barrels that had been forgotten as long as 17 years and decided to set himself a challenge—take the best of those lost barrels and make a blend that brought out the best in Canadian and American whiskeys.
This was a large innovation project for Constellation Brands that went through several rounds of direction changes. I was given several names at the start of the project. Here is another name I chose to do some work on in the first round with several closure options.
In 1869, two traders left Montana’s strict liquor laws to establish a whiskey trading post on the Oldman River. The rowdy post wasn’t in business long before it earned the nickname Fort Whoop-Up.
